Work is H.E.L.L.

I feel so out of touch right now!
I want to start off by saying how sorry I am for not being able to make time to podcast, vidcast or even blog lately. This whole change at the Plantation has just been HELL!!
I just took over a store that everyone knew was understaffed....however...once I got in and found out the true numbers...it BLEW MY MIND. A unit that should have 53-60 associates....and it has 21 after clearing out all of the "fake people" from the computer system. So HELL is an understatement...did I mention that this is 2.1 million dollar operation....HELL ON EARTH is a great way to put it......so....time is something i have NONE of at the moment! The time I do have (the moments in which im not only being the manager...and working the positions of 2-3 associates...at one time) is spent listening to complaints from staff members who are OVER WORK and not had any praise for doing a FABULOUS JOB working with the small number of people that they have had for the last year that this unit has been open. It's a NIGHTMARE....whatever time is left over is being used to hire additional people....find additional people from other units to help out....CLEANING UP ONE DIRTY FILTHY MESS AFTER ANOTHER AFTER ANOTHER....and of course ...I have to attempt to take care of myself...my dogs...and my nasty house....
For the past 3 days my work hours have been
Weds: 6am-11pm -17hours
Thurs: 7am-11pm - 16 hours
Fri: 6am-9pm -15 hours

48 hours ALREADY !!!!!!
and my work week is not over until Tuesday
