Oh my, Boo Hoo...listen to all these Columbus Queens crying about Ohio's new no-smoking laws. Honey, it has been no-smoking in California since 1994. That's 12 years. My violin is playin for you. I am sure you all will survive...us, Californians have...and have cleaner air for it. Zilla is right...those heaters are no match for Columbus winters. Even I could have figured out that.

50 cents a gallon for gas? Wow.. that was a long time ago, AJ! You're dating yourself, girl. Remember the "Odd and Even Days" for getting gas, depending on the last number on your license plate? That takes me back. Aw...the terrible inflation gas/energy crisis days of the 1970's. What has changed, nothing...we are just willing to pay up the nose for gas now.

Wal Mart baby...I'm surprised Wal Mart didn't charge the woman to take her baby out of the store. Trust, Wal Mart will take this story and twist it into a money marketing machine for them. Trust me...will probably will be watching this "Wal Mart Kid" grow up via advertising and commercials.

That walmart baby thing is just like that movie with Natalie Portman. She had the baby there and got all this free stuff.

In Boston (and Cambridge) we banned smoking in clubs and bars probably about a couple years ago. I smoked at the time and at first I was upset. I liked smoking when I went out and drank. But then I noticed that my clothes didn't stink when I came in, and I could dance better because I could breathe more. And you don't get burned by random cigarettes. Plus, it was fun to stand outside with other smokers and meet people (becuase Bostonians are unfriendly and you wouldn't talk to strangers otherwise). Ultimately though, the cold, the high prices and me changing the people I hung out with made me quit smoking without even realizing it. In time, you'll be glad they passed that law.
